Devon Link-Up are very excited and proud to announce that we were awarded the Devon wide contract for the NHS Quality Checkers service funded by NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group and through the Devon County Council Better Care Fund.

Quality Checkers are people who are paid to check NHS Services. The aim is that the NHS will be able to support people with learning disabilities to have better treatment, have a greater awareness of the range of NHS services available to them, be able to make informed choices about their care and treatment, live longer in the community, stop dying earlier than they should.

Quality Checkers have a learning disability, dual diagnosis or learning disability with autism or have an additional mental health need

Quality Checkers have experience of using services themselves so know about the importance of good quality support

Quality Checkers know what to ask and where to look for answers
